Our HydraFacial menu has three lines on it, and from the outside they look like the same treatment with escalating prices. That is a fair thing to be suspicious about, so here is the honest structure of it: the HydraFacial itself is identical on all three. Same device, same patented sequence, same painless extractions. What changes is what gets layered on top, and how long you are in the room.
That makes the decision simpler than the price list suggests. You are not choosing a strength of treatment, and the higher tiers are not a deeper or more aggressive version of the lower one. You are choosing whether you want a targeted booster serum, LED light therapy, and lymphatic drainage added to a treatment that already does the core work on its own.
The one-line version
Booking maintenance, or trying a HydraFacial for the first time? Signature HydraFacial at $190. Working on a specific concern - dullness, congestion, early fine lines, redness? Deluxe HydraFacial at $270, which adds the booster and the LED. Want the most complete version we offer, or prepping for an event? Platinum HydraFacial at $320.
The Short Answer
A HydraFacial is a device treatment. The handpiece uses what the manufacturer describes as "patented Vortex-Fusion® technology to cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate the skin in one continuous treatment." The brand breaks the full protocol into seven steps - hydrate, microdermabrasion, peel, extract, booster, LED, and lymphatic drainage - and the last three are exactly what separates our tiers.
So read the menu this way. Signature HydraFacial is the core sequence: cleanse, resurface, painless suction extraction, hydrate. Deluxe HydraFacial is that core plus a booster serum chosen for your concern and a pass of Elipsa LightStim LED. Platinum HydraFacial is all of it, opening with lymphatic drainage before anything else.
If budget is the deciding factor, the useful thing to know is that the $190 treatment is the HydraFacial. Everything above it is a well-chosen addition to that treatment, not a correction of it. We would rather you came every six weeks for the Signature HydraFacial than twice a year for the Platinum HydraFacial.
All Three Tiers, Side by Side
Every price below is published, every appointment is booked for the time shown, and the skin analysis at the start is part of the appointment rather than a separate consultation fee.
Two things to read out of that table. First, the downtime column does not move, because the resurfacing does not move - the American Academy of Dermatology describes microdermabrasion, the modality behind that step, as one where "you may feel a sanding sensation, but this is not painful," and after which "you will not have downtime or a recovery period." Second, the time column does move, and the extra minutes are spent on the added steps rather than on a longer version of the same steps.
Each Tier in Plain Language
Signature HydraFacial - $190, 30 min
The classic HydraFacial and the tier we book most. In 30 min we cleanse, gently exfoliate, lift congestion out with suction rather than fingers, and infuse hydrating serums through the Vortex-Fusion system. It suits all skin types, it leaves no downtime, and it is the right answer far more often than the price list implies. If you have never had one, or you want something reliable on a schedule, start here and stay here until a reason to move appears.
Deluxe HydraFacial - $270, 45 min
The first real step up, and the one most people eventually settle on. On top of the core treatment we add a customized booster serum - brightening, anti-aging, calming or clarifying - selected for what your skin shows that day, then finish with Elipsa LightStim LED light therapy. The difference between this and the $190 tier is targeting: the Signature treats your skin, the Deluxe treats your concern. If you can name the thing you want changed, this is the tier that addresses it. Our guide to HydraFacial boosters covers how we choose between the four directions.
Platinum HydraFacial - $320, 60 min
Our most complete renewal. It opens with lymphatic drainage to help support the skin's natural detox process, then runs the full HydraFacial with an advanced booster and LED. At 60 min it is the longest treatment on the HydraFacial menu, which is part of the appeal - this is the one people book when they want the full hour rather than a lunch-break refresh. It is also our usual recommendation before a wedding or a photographed event, for the simple reason that it is the most thorough thing we can do with no downtime attached.
What the Upgrades Actually Add
Three things separate the tiers. It is worth knowing what each one is for, because that is how you decide whether you are buying something you need.
The booster serum
The booster is the targeting step. Our menu runs four directions - brightening, anti-aging, calming and clarifying - and the right one is chosen at your analysis rather than ordered in advance. It is included on Deluxe HydraFacial ($270), and Platinum HydraFacial ($320) carries an advanced booster. If the tier decision comes down to whether the booster is worth it, read what each HydraFacial booster does first.
The LED step
Our LED step uses the Elipsa by LightStim, a professional panel rather than a handheld. Per LightStim's own specifications it carries 868 professional-grade LEDs and emits blue, amber, light red, dark red and infrared wavelengths. The AAD positions red light as a complementary therapy for acne and signs of aging - which is exactly how we use it, as a finishing step rather than the reason you came. Our LED light therapy guide is the long version, including who should mention their skin tone and medications before the panel goes on.
Lymphatic drainage
Exclusive to Platinum HydraFacial, and part of why it runs 60 min. It is a gentle opening step intended to support the skin's natural detox process before the resurfacing begins. We are not going to promise you a measurable change from it, because we have no way to show you one. What we can say is that it is the step clients consistently describe as the nicest part of the appointment, and that it is why this tier feels like a treatment rather than an errand.
What we will not do is put a number on the gap between the tiers. There is no published head-to-head result showing the Platinum outperforms the Deluxe by some percentage, and anyone quoting you one is quoting something they cannot support. What we can tell you is exactly what each includes, which is what the table above does.
If Your Main Goal Is X, Book Y
This is the table people actually want. Start from the concern rather than the price, and treat every row as a starting point we confirm at your skin analysis rather than a prescription.
Choose the Tier You Can Repeat
A HydraFacial is a surface treatment, and surface treatments are bought as a rhythm rather than as an event. Most people do best on a visit every 4 to 6 weeks, which tracks the skin's roughly 28-day renewal cycle - the reasoning is laid out in how often you should get a HydraFacial.
The AAD is unsentimental about this for microdermabrasion specifically: "most patients receive between 5 and 16 treatments," "the results tend to be temporary," and "follow-up treatments are usually necessary to help retain smoother skin and a more radiant complexion." That is the honest frame for every tier on this menu.
Which is why the tier you can repeat beats the tier that impresses you once. A Signature HydraFacial every six weeks is a different-looking face in six months. A single Platinum HydraFacial is a very good Thursday. Plenty of clients split the difference - Signature for maintenance, a Deluxe or Platinum when a concern flares or an event lands - and that pattern works well.
You are not committing to anything at booking, and you are not locked into a tier. If you book the Signature and your analysis says the booster would earn its place that day, we will tell you, and you can say no. The full price picture across the menu is on our pricing page and in how much a HydraFacial costs in Plano.
What We Settle at Your Skin Analysis
Every appointment opens with a professional skin analysis, and it is part of the treatment rather than a separate line item - there is no consultation fee here. The tier is the easy half of that conversation. The half that matters more is which booster, how the LED is set, and how often you should realistically come back, none of which a price list can tell you.
It is also where we find out whether a HydraFacial is the right purchase at all. If your concern is scarring, deep texture or stubborn pigment, we will say so and point you at the treatment that actually reaches it - a chemical peel or microneedling. And if what you want is an hour of hands-on work rather than device time, a corrective facial gives you more of that per dollar; HydraFacial vs regular facial lays that choice out properly.
