Our microneedling menu has five lines on it, and from the outside four of them look like the same treatment with escalating prices. That is a fair thing to be suspicious about, so here is the honest structure of it: the needling is identical across all four microneedling tiers. Same device, same hour, same numbing cream. What changes - and the only thing that changes - is what gets driven into the skin afterward.
That makes the choice simpler than the price list suggests. You are not picking a strength of treatment. You are picking how much regenerative support you want layered onto a treatment that is already doing the work. This guide puts all five options next to each other, explains what each step up actually adds, and then maps real concerns to a specific line on the menu.
The one-line version
New to microneedling, or testing how your skin responds? Start with the SkinStylus Microneedling (Original) at $300. Want recovery and brightness supported as well? The growth-factor tier at $400. Several concerns at once, or you want the most support per session? The exosome tiers at $500 and $600. Want glow with no downtime at all? That is nanoneedling at $150, and it is a different treatment rather than a cheaper one.
The Short Answer
Microneedling creates controlled micro-channels in the skin, and your own healing response fills them in with new collagen and elastin. The American Academy of Dermatology describes it as "a medical treatment that uses tiny needles to puncture the skin" to diminish acne scars, large pores, uneven texture and fine lines. That mechanism is the product, and it is the same on every microneedling line of our menu.
So the tier you choose does not change how deep we go or how long you are red afterward. It changes the serum system infused into those channels while they are open - hyaluronic acid, growth factors, exosomes, or the full PEARL protocol - and whether the session finishes with LED light therapy and a soothing mask.
If budget is the deciding factor, the useful thing to know is that the SkinStylus Microneedling (Original) at $300 is the protocol the research is attached to. Everything above it is support for that protocol, not a replacement for it. We would rather you did three sessions of the $300 treatment than one session of the $600 one.
All Five Options, Side by Side
Every price below is published, every appointment is booked for the time shown, and numbing cream and written aftercare are part of a microneedling appointment rather than an add-on.
Two things to read out of that table. First, the downtime column does not move between the four microneedling tiers, because the needling does not move. Second, the time column does not move either - these are all full appointments, and the extra money buys what goes into the skin rather than minutes in the room.
The Ladder, in Plain Language
SkinStylus Microneedling (Original) - $300
The foundation. SkinStylus microneedling with an AnteAGE hyaluronic acid booster, aimed at texture, fine lines and uneven tone. Hyaluronic acid is a hydrator, so this tier is the needling with a comfortable, well-hydrated finish and nothing exotic layered on. If you have never had microneedling and want to see how your skin behaves before planning a longer course, start here. Plenty of people stay here.
Microneedling + Brightening GF Serum - $400
The first real step up. AnteAGE growth factors and skin-repair proteins are infused instead of hyaluronic acid alone, and the session is finished with LED light therapy and a soothing mask. Growth factors are signaling molecules - they are there to support the repair process the needling has just started. The LED and the mask are included rather than billed separately, which is part of why the step from the foundation tier is what it is.
Microneedling + Brightening Exosomes - $500
This tier swaps growth factors for AnteAGE exosomes. Exosomes are regenerative messengers that support skin repair, hydration and collagen renewal, and pairing them with microneedling is intended to enhance both the result and the recovery compared with microneedling alone. LED and a soothing mask are included here too. If you want the fuller comparison of exosomes against the other popular add-on, we wrote microneedling with exosomes vs PRP - short version, we offer exosomes and do not offer PRP.
Microneedling + PEARL Exosomes - $600
Our most complete protocol, and the top of the ladder. Where the $500 tier infuses exosomes, the AnteAGE P.E.A.R.L system is exosomes plus PDRN, PDGF, antioxidants and amino acids in one protocol, described on our menu as accelerated multi-correction renewal. The practical reading of "multi-correction" is that it tends to suit people addressing several things at once - scarring and tone and fine lines - rather than one isolated concern. There is a longer explainer in what is PEARL exosome microneedling.
What we are not going to do is put a number on the gap between the two exosome tiers. We have no head-to-head result to show you, and anyone who quotes you a percentage improvement for one serum over another is quoting something they cannot support. What we can tell you is exactly what is in each, which is what the table above does.
Where Nanoneedling Sits
SkinStylus Nanoneedling at $150 is the one option on the list that is not microneedling in the clinical sense, which is exactly why it costs less. Instead of creating channels deep enough to remodel tissue, it creates microscopic channels in the outermost layer to maximize serum absorption - without injury, without numbing cream and with essentially no downtime.
Treat it as a different purchase rather than a budget version of the same thing. Nanoneedling is for glow, absorption and maintenance. It will not resurface an acne scar, and we would rather say so than sell you a session that cannot do the job you booked it for. The full comparison is in microneedling vs nanoneedling, including how the two can alternate through the year.
If Your Main Goal Is X, Start With Y
This is the table people actually want. Start from the concern, not the price, and treat it as a starting point we confirm at your skin analysis rather than a prescription.
Choose the Tier You Can Repeat
Microneedling is bought as a course, not as a session, and this is where most people get the decision backwards. The AAD is specific: for acne scars "you may need 3 to 5 treatments, which are performed every 2 to 4 weeks," and studies show such a plan "can fade acne scars by 50% to 70%." Results "appear gradually as your body produces collagen" - some improvement within a few weeks, but "it usually takes several months before you see full results."
Note what that number is attached to. The 50% to 70% figure belongs to the needling protocol, not to any serum. So the tier that gets you the result is the tier you will actually book three to five times.
You are not required to commit to a series up front, and you are not locked into one tier. Plenty of clients start on the foundation treatment, see how their skin responds over the first two visits, and step up only if their goal calls for it. The full pricing picture, including how we compare with published national ranges, is in how much microneedling costs in Plano, and the pacing question has its own guide in how many microneedling sessions you need.
What We Settle at Your Skin Analysis
Every appointment opens with a professional skin analysis, and it is part of the treatment rather than a separate line item - there is no consultation fee here. The tier is the easy half of that conversation. The half that matters more is depth, spacing and how many sessions your skin actually needs, which is not something a price list can tell you.
It is also where screening happens. Tell us about prescription medications including isotretinoin and retinoids, recent waxing, lasers or peels elsewhere, a history of cold sores, pregnancy or nursing, and any active infection or breakout in the area - every one of those changes what is safe or sensible to do on the day. The AAD also advises against microneedling if you heal slowly or poorly, have or have had a keloid scar, or have a weakened immune system due to a medical condition or medication. We ask about all three before we treat.
And if microneedling is not the right tool, we will say so. If your concern is surface pigment or congestion rather than scarring or texture, a chemical peel or a clinical corrective facial may get you there for less - the comparison is laid out in microneedling vs chemical peel for acne scars.
